Spiritual

Spirituality is about making connections…connection with yourself, with nature, with the huge questions of life, with other people, and ultimately connection with God.

But spirituality, like any aspect of the abundant life, requires intentional movement. Spirituality has been compared to a doorway, but perhaps it is more like a path. A doorway indicates that something more lies before us, but a path means you are moving in the direction of discovery. The kind spiritual movement that brings the greatest return is guided by a higher power—a deeper knowledge—a more extensive array of experiences than what we already have on our own. And this is why millions have turned to God and the Bible. This is why tens of millions of viewers have been glued to their televisions for the last five weeks, either watching in contemplative solitude, or surrounded by family and friends. We know intuitively that spirituality without the ultimate guide is like a GPS without a satellite connection. We know that for our spiritual quest to be completely successful, we need the Guide above all guides, and that is the God above all gods.

Take this four-step journey to peace with God. Then pray to accept Him into your life.

Step 1 – God so loved the world

Step 2 – That He gave His only Son

Step 3 – That whoever believes in Him

Step 4 – Should not perish
